Peer Review Process

Peer-Review Process - Global Journal of Law, AI & Ethics (GJLAE)

All papers submitted to GJLAE undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic integrity.

Peer-Review Workflow

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the GJLAE online system.

2. Initial Assessment by Editor-in-Chief (EIC)

EIC evaluates the manuscript’s relevance. If unsuitable, it is rejected. If suitable, it proceeds to the next phase.

3. Preliminary Review

Checked for format, originality, and language quality. If revisions are needed, returned to authors for corrections.

4. Peer Review by Experts

Evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. Typically takes 8-12 weeks.

5. Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ feedback:
  • Accepted - Moves to production.
  • Minor Revision - Authors make small changes.
  • Major Revision - Requires significant edits and second review.
  • Rejected - Does not meet journal standards.

6. Production and Publication

Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, formatting, and publication.
